At Tannenbaum Trees and Trim we grow 5 varieties of trees. Scotch Pine, Douglas Fir, Concolor Fir, Canaan Fir, and Norway Spruce are all grown on the farm. We also bring in Fraser Fir from Michigan.
Scotch Pine
Scotch Pine has excellent needle retention with long soft needles and strong branches. They are a bring great Christmas smell to your home.
Canaan Fir
Canaan Fir resembles the popular Fraser Fir. They have strong branches and great needle retention. Canaan Fir trees are very fragrant.
Concolor Fir
Concolor Fir is an unique tree! They look like a cross between an evergreen and a succulent. They vary in color and can have a blue tint. The needles have excellent retention. The tree has a citrus scent.
Douglas Fir
Douglas Fir trees have soft flat needles. They are a blue-green color and very fragrant.
Norway Spruce
Norway Spruce has very strong branches but poor needle retention. They need to be cut late closer to the holiday and are a short season Christmas tree.
Fraser Fir
Fraser Fir are available as a pre-cut only. They have strong branches and soft needles. The needle retention is excellent. They are very fragrant.
